If you are looking for a good, easy dinner, this recipe is for you! I made this last night and it is a keeper :) Enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (frozen)
- 1 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1/2 package ranch salad dressing mix
- 1 to 3 tablespoons of butter
Throw the chicken breasts into your crock-pot still frozen. Pour the buffalo wing sauce and ranch mix on top (I used Sweet Baby Ray's buffalo wing sauce. You can use more or less sauce, depending on how saucy you want it). Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Uncover and shred chicken. Add a little butter and cook for one more hour (I didn't use much butter, just because I didn't want to add a lot of fat!). I then put butter on some sandwich buns and toasted them. We topped the buns with the buffalo chicken, some mozzarella cheese, and some ranch dressing! Super yummy and easy meal that is husband approved :)
We tried these this week and loved it! Where did you buy the brand of sauce you used the one I bought was like total liquid by the time I went to shred the chicken and add the butter do I had to pour it out and add more sauce
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it! Aldis had the sauce that I used, but it was one of those brands that they just sell for a bit and then don't carry any more. I am not sure what the brand was exactly or where to find it now :(
