Today Dawson received his first official haircut! He still doesn't have a ton of hair and what he does have is sooo blond it is hard to see anyways, but it was getting a little long and scraggly in the back, so it was time to get it cut! I was a little nervous about how he would do, but he handled it better than expected! Here are some pictures to depict the event!

Dawson is soooo fun right now :) I am loving every minute with him! He is definitely no longer my "baby" and is quite the little toddler. This is bitter sweet for me, as it is hard to see him leaving his baby stage, but so exciting to watch him become a little man! Dawson and I have tons of fun during the day. We love to make each other laugh :) I am super thankful that I get to stay home with this little blessing!
Dawson has become quite the little talker! He is trying new words daily and will attempt to say most of the things you ask him to! Some of his newest words are- avocado, mailman, lawn mower, apple, and Clark :)
Dawson is also already showing his love for his little brother. He loves to pat my tummy while he says "belly!" and give "his brother" (aka my belly) kisses :) Super sweet!
At almost 17 months now, Dawson has (almost) 10 teeth! He is still a picky eater, but we are working on that! He has transitioned to one nap a day and absolutely LOVES the outdoors. Dawson is also super ticklish- one of his favorite times of day is the nightly tickle session with daddy. Dawson has become obsessed with large trucks and airplanes. He now calls all vehicles "truck" and anytime he hears a plane, he stops what he is doing and points/looks up in the air. Such a boy! When Dawson hears something loud or new, he makes a surprised face and noise that is just priceless...sooo cute ;) Also, one of his favorite daily activities is to throw all of mommy's lotions off of her dresser and on to the floor. He is definitely a little mess maker!
I feel like my little man is doing so many new things, that it is hard to even skim the surface, but hopefully you can get a little sense of how he is changing and growing! We haven't done very good with taking pictures lately, but here are a few new ones from the past few months!
